World of Arena 1.0.4: The Red Count map and in-game chat
The Season 1 map is now in every mode and on the server. In-game chat is here. The champion list scrolls as one.
1.0.3 was never released. Its changes are in this patch.
Highlights
- The Red Count map: The Season 1 map is now in every mode and on the server. The old map cannot be selected.
- In-game chat: You can write to your friends from inside the game.
- One scrolling champion list: The collection and the store use the same list. You buy from the champion page.
- Readable fonts: Body text is Inter, headings are Space Grotesk. The smallest text is 14 px.
- No "Coming soon": Items that do not work yet are gone from the interface.
Friends and settings
- Group headers in the friends list have a plus and a minus button. You can open and close each group.
- The friends panel is new. It has tabs, incoming requests and blocked players. You can add a friend by typing Name#tag.
- The settings window is new. It has tabs on the left and a search bar on top. Each tab shows how many settings you changed.
- Language and other single-choice settings use a dropdown menu.
- The graphics setting has a before and after preview.
Champions
- The champion page is new. Abilities, story and skins are in one place.
- Every champion has a difficulty rating.
- The "Story" button opens the champion's full story.
- Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+4 switch between menus.
- Splash art, portraits and icons of 12 champions are new.
- Mode cards use pictures from the Red Count map.
Server
- Match history on your profile did not load. We fixed it. You do not need an update for this.
